I know, I know, it is “technically” not summer, yet, but it sure feels like it. You know, something like “if it smells like it, or sounds like it, or tastes like it, it must be it”, or something like that, you get my drift. And it looks like a pretty nice weekend to head out for some good food and wine. So we hope you consider joining us at Fratello’s, when we will be featuring fresh Wahoo Fish from Hawaii (Go Tribe!), a little bit of Lemon Sole, and Boneless Beef Short Ribs. I know there is a lot to consider on summer weekends, but we hope you can fit us in to your schedule.
On our feature board I urge you to try the Rosso from Italy before it is gone, which goes very well with our menu. As you might guess, I have several wines in the wings waiting for space on the board, including an excellent Cabernet blend from Bolgheri and a Priorat (Garnacha) from Spain. When possible, they will join our old friends Joel Gott Cabernet and Location E, the red Spanish blend that we have featured for awhile. Rumor has it that the days for E are numbered, but I will keep you posted.
We appreciate all your support all these many years. We try our best, believe it or not, every night, and we appreciate you sticking in there with us for nearly 20 years now. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you soon.
