Well, it seemed a little better this week. Certainly warmer, but where were the 50+ temps I was expecting? And to top it off, I hear cold days will be upon us again soon, as in next week. I have even heard the dreaded “PV” mentioned, which we unfortunately learned this year refers to a “polar vortex”. It’s enough to make your head spin, or at least for some consistency, please. Well, how about some good food and wine to help you through these troubled times? Take this weekend, when we at Fratello’s will be featuring Ohio raised Rib Eye Steaks, Arctic Char, and North Atlantic Halibut. In my experience good food, wine and company always seems to help, so remember, we are here for you.
The cold also seems to have taken its toll on the wine industry, so the wines on our feature board have not changed. No that this is a bad thing, as these wines are all very good, including the Cabernet from Joel Gott, the red Spanish blend from Locations “E”, and the trio of Italian wines from Sicily, Tuscany and Piedmont. I have other Italian wines that will be featured soon, and I urge you to peruse our wine list which has wines from all over the world, including Italy, France, Spain, California, Oregon, Washington, Chile, Argentine, Germany and Australia (and I may have left some countries out, sorry). Just ask and we’d be happy to help you find a wine that works for you.
Thanks for your continued support and friendship, it is very much appreciated. We look forward to seeing you son.
