Unfortunately October baseball did not last as long as we had hoped it would, but the Tribe still gave us much to cheer about this season. Although things obviously did not turn out quite as expected, or as hoped, I suggest we say good job to the team, let’s learn from this year and go get ’em next season (although that refrain is getting old around here). Now how’s that for optimism? You know what I am also optimistic about? Why, that you might be so tempted by our features, or our menu, or our wines, or just us to come visit with us this weekend! We will be featuring
Beef Braciole, Arctic Char and Flounder, and of course there will also be some Veal & Chicken & Pasta & Clams & Mussels & Calamari & Eggplant &…..hope you can join us, we’d love to see ya’!
Our wine board our supply of the Cabernet blend from California, Elizabeth Rose, is getting very low, so I urge you to try it while it is available. The same is true to a lesser extent with the Pinot Noir from Monterey, Cowpoke. Both of these wines are medium bodied, easy to drink & enjoy type of wines. In the wings offstage a Cabernet from Napa awaits, which offers both quality & especially value, and I may even have some vino from Italy up my sleeve. Stay tuned.
We hope you are well and want to thank you again for your support. Take care, and we hope to see you soon.
