Boy, what a week it’s been, non? Starting with last Sunday, a day that will forever be remembered around these parts, leading up to that amazing parade yesterday. Definitely one for the ages (although let’s hope that we don’t have to wait so long for another parade). And I suggest we keep all the good vibes going all weekend, like, maybe, heading out to celebrate with some fine food & wine. Which it just so happens that we will providing this weekend, when we will be featuring Prestige Pork Chops, Uku Fish from Hawaii and fresh Lemon Sole from the Atlantic. And we will be here all weekend to celebrate with you. Join us, we’d love to see ya’!
On our wine board the Pinot Noir from Oregon, Persnickety, is nearly gone, with only a few bottles left, but our supply of the excellent red from Portugal, Confidencial Reserve, is still okay. I urge you to try this wine. It has excellent fruit, medium body, very tasty either with food or by itself. As I mentioned last week, I am a fan of wines from both Portugal and Spain and we have offerings from both countries on our list. When Persnickety is gone I have several wines from Italy to join the program, one from Piedmont and one from Umbria, so fear not that we will run out of wines for you to enjoy. As I have often commented, I am confident that we have a wine for you to enjoy at Fratello’s.
I hope you are well and remaining cool in these humid times we find ourselves in. Thanks for all your support, and we look forward to seeing you soon.
P.S. How about those Cavs!!! Hooray!!!
