Whew, as Yoda might say, pretty stuffed I am. I bet the same is true for many of you as well. We are all very fortunate, certainly some more than others, but I bet we all have much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving evening. But, alas, tomorrow is another day (as Scarlett might say), and as with every day will present a whole new set of challenges for us. Like, for instance, what to do for dinner. Many of us have spent too much time in our own kitchens today, so why not let us do the cooking for you this weekend. We will be featuring Certified Angus Beef Delmonico Steak, Lemon Sole and Mahi-mahi, fresh from Hawaii. I know it might be a stretch to consider another meal at this point, but one has to eat, and we sure would love to see ya’. Take a break from “Black Friday”, and join us for “Tasty Friday” at Fratello’s. Who knows, maybe we can start a new tradition!
Our wine board continues to feature the Cab from Joel Gott from California, the Sangiovese blend from Ferrari-Carano, Siena, the Zinfandel from California via Washington, Motto, and the Bordeaux from Chateau Le Bourdieu, which is a 50/50 blend of Cabernet & Merlot. We have wines from Argentina waiting in the wings for their time on the board, and a California entry as well. Come join us for a glass, or a bottle. Remember, one can always take their unfinished wine home with them. Just ask us.
We continue to take reservations for our annual New Year’s Eve Celebration, and we have three seatings at 5:30, 7:30 and 9:30. We take reservations for all size parties (i.e. even a deuce), and we have a waiting list should we be full for the time that you want to join us. It is always a good time, and we’d love for you to join us. Call – do not email – for a reservation.
It is Thanksgiving evening as I write this, and on such an evening I for my part consider all that I am thankful for, as I’m sure we all do in our own way. Family comes to mind, as does health (hopefully!), our wonderful (mostly) staff, and of course you, our loyal patrons without whom we would not be here. Thank you all, we hope you are well, and we look forward to seeing you soon.
