Greetings!

Looks like it’s getting chilly again, brrrrrr. But we are on the right side of winter now, at least for those of us whose skiing days are over (if they ever were!). The days are definitely longer, we are into February already, sometimes even the sun decides to pay us a visit. And we still have the opportunity to go out, laugh & have fun, and even enjoy some nice food & wine. This is where we can help, at least on the food & wine side (but maybe the other as well, who knows?).

We will be featuring this weekend Buffalo Short ribs,

Arctic Char and Red Grouper, all good stuff, plus all the other Fratello favorites you like will be here as well. Come join us, let us do the cooking and uncorking for you, we’d love to see ya’!

In our wine world, I have added a new wine from Washington to our wine board for you to enjoy by the bottle or by the glass. The Pendulum Meritage hails from Walla Walla, among the premier sites for red wine from Washington, and is a blend of Shiraz (or Syrah), Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Merlot. It is a medium bodied wine that works well by itself or with a meal, and it gives a hint of what quality wines from this part of the country taste like. I have become more and more a fan of Washington wines, and I have included some on our wine list at a range of price points. Not to tip my hand (well, sort of), just today I have committed to a Merlot from Washington from Treasure Hunter that I plan to feature in the near future for you to enjoy. The wines from the northwest of our country, Oregon included, are very good and worthy of your support. Give them a try, perhaps starting with this Pendulum. Just a thought.

As you know, we at Fratello’s have been here for a number of years, and as I have told you before this would not be possible without your support. Thank you sincerely. I hope you are well, and we look forward to seeing you.

Ciao
