Well, I hope Santa was good to everyone. We did get our White Christmas, which I like, but now that the sleigh has been put away for a year it’s time for warmer weather, non? But the New Year beckons, and we will be here all weekend to hep you welcome the New Year. Our New Year’s Eve plans are nearly full, although we do have a few openings as I write this, but we will be around on Friday & Saturday to celebrate the closing of “17 and the welcoming of ’18 with you. We will be featuring this weekend Prestige Pork Chops, Wahoo Fish and Swordfish. Come join us and help us celebrate!
I have some plans for the new year wine wise, but we will conclude this year on our wine board the Cab from Joel Gott, the Sangiovese blend from Ferrari-Carano, Siena, the Italian Cab from Tuscany, Listra, and the Spanish wine from Dave Phinney, Locations E, that I mentioned last week. We had featured “E” many months ago, and it seems like many of you have welcomed its return to our program. This Tempranillo wine is Spanish but made in a California style, which I think lends its appeal to many. Fruit forward, well balanced, nice finish on the back end, this wine has appeal. As you know we have many wines on our list, at all price points, and I am confident that we have a wine that will work for you.
This is obviously my last email to you this year, and I want to thank you all for the support and friendship that you have extended to us all these many years. It is always amazing to me how quickly the years seem to pass, and each year they somehow seem to go faster than the year before. (What’s up with that?) We are both grateful and fortunate to be here, and without your support we clearly would not be so fortunate. Thank you sincerely, and I want to wish you all a most safe and Happy New Year. Take care.
