Pretty nice out, non? I know things can change somewhat rapidly around here, but we have been on a pretty good role recently. I bet you there were golfers out this week, and there still seems to be a bunch of leaves on the trees yet. But you know what this also means – why, pretty good times to head out for some fine food & wine! For out part we will be featuring this weekend #1 grade Tuna, a little bit of Lemon Sole, plus Prestige Pork Chops (we don’t serve just run-of-the-mill pork chops @Fratello’s!). Come join us, it doesn’t look like it’ll be too bad out, we’ll be here, the tables will be set, the ovens & stoves will be on, the corkscrews will be ready, all we’ll need is you. We’d love to see ya’!

The wine world seems to be still digesting their Thanksgiving feasts, so our wine board continues to feature the Cabs from California, Washington and Italy, as well as the Sangiovese blend from Sonoma (that’ll be Siena from Ferrari-Carano, but you knew that). I do have plans to bring back an old wine friend from Spain that goes by a certain letter (hint,hint) when space permits. I also received several new bottles of Barolo and Brunello that will be available but probably will not make it to our list. Both are from the 2012 vintage, which was very good, especially for Barolo, and both are competitively priced. Lastly, the recent Wine Spectator listed as the #2 wine in the world a Syrah from K Vintners from Washington. We have several wines from , which come from eastern Washington, and I urge you to try them. Washington makes a number of very good wines, including Merlot, Cabernet, Grenache and Syrah, and we have several for you to try. Just a thought.
