I hope we are not going to pay for this, but we have been pretty lucky recently, at least weather wise. Sunny days, beautiful skies & clouds, even Scottish golf weather, all for the good. Just the kind of days to treat you & your people to a wonderful meal, perhaps even with some wine. Like, just saying, this weekend at Fratello’s, when we will be featuring Smoked Salmon, Pork Osso Bucco, and the return of Jumbo Sea Scallops. It’s looking like a good weekend to join us, so mosey over, we’d love to see ya’!
On the wine front, we continue to feature wines from Treasure Hunter that I mentioned last week. The California Grenache, Cosmic Karma, is on a brief hiatus but will return soon, but on the board as I write this is a Petit Sirah from Sonoma, also by Treasure Hunter. This wine offers forward fruit in a medium to full bodied wine, very good by itself or with a meal. A Cabernet from Napa by Michael Pozzan awaits in the wings, and I plan on adding a wine from Italy to the mix soon. As I have often said, there is a lot of juice out there to enjoy, and we have plenty, so I am sure that we can pair you with a wine that you will enjoy. Join us for a glass, or a bottle….remember, you can always take the bottle home if you do not finish the wine. Just ask us.
It is very nice out as I write this, and I hope you have been able to enjoy our good fortune recently. Thank you for all your support, it is truly appreciated. We look forward to seeing you soon.
