Pretty nice out, non? I could take this type of day for awhile, say until next spring. Not likely, perhaps, but let’s take it while we can. Plus we have October baseball to enjoy. Plus how about some nice meals & wine at Fratello’s? This weekend we will be featuring Certified Angus Beef, Bone In Ribeye Steaks, Black Grouper from Central America. and Wild Stripped Bass from the Maryland coast. Come join us, we have some fine food, some fine wine (& spirits), and we’ll all be rooting for the Tribe! We’d love to se ya’!
Speaking of wine, the Toro from Spain has unfortunately left us, but I have added a red blend from Napa to our wine board that you might enjoy. Crafted from a winemaker who previously worked at Cakebread Cellars, this red wine, “Chockablock” from Elizabeth Rose, is a Merlot heavy red blend, with Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cab Franc and Petit Verdot also blended, and is a medium, bodied red from Napa in the Bordeaux style. Easy drinking, well balanced, this is a very nice drinking wine, with or without food. I have also tasted today some very good wines from Italy and from Sonoma, so stay tuned, it is likely they will turn up in future emails. As I have often said, I bet we have a wine for you to enjoy here. Come join us!
Thanks for your continued support and friendship. We hope you are enjoying our good weather, and really good fortune, and look forward to seeing you soon. Take care.
